I hope to keep everyone informed on the latest Maria Bamford news as the information comes to me.I'll be posting past issues of this newsletter on the website. But only true die-hard Maria Bamford fans who sign up for a subscription will get the newsletter before everyone else. So if you know anyone who really likes the comedy of Maria Bamford, goad them into signing up! They'll thank you for it later. I promise.

Maria Bamford's newly redesigned website is now online! Lots of new photos including her cool pug, letters from fans, even letters from Maria's mom. Looks good, SuperFox! Everyone... go check it out at:

Maria on TV in March

If you haven't read the Viewer's Guide section of MariaBamfordFan.com recently, then listen up! Comedy Central is playing lots of Maria this month. Plus Black Entertainment Network (BET) launches a new animated series tonight with Maria doing some of the voices.

Tonight (Mar. 4) at 8 PM ET, BET airs "Hey, Monie", an animated series about a black woman and her circle of friends.

This Friday, Comedy Central plays two shows featuring Maria. At 5 PM ET, an episode of "Heroes of Comedy -- Women on Top" airs with a segment featuring Maria. Then later that evening (9 PM ET to be exact), CC plays the episode of Premium Blend that introduced me to Maria and her talent.

Maria's 1/2 hour special airs again on C.Central March 17. Don't know about you, but I'm still not tired of seeing it.

Did you know that Maria Bamford was on an early episode of "Mystery Science Theater 3000"?

She appears as a "fiddler" in Episode 126 -- "Bloodlust" which first aired September 3, 1994. And, yes, you can get it on VHS or DVD.

Fan Stuff

My hope is to gather and organize enough fans together through this website to give Maria a boost in her career. The more popular Maria appears in the eyes of the Show-Biz Suits, the more likely we will see more of Maria. So do encourage others to visit the site and sign up for the newsletter!
